For the same reason they don't ship linux as the preinstalled OS on their machines....They don't have the b***s to take risks
Each revolution is risky and it can be a fail, so why not mass produce cheap computers in China and sell them for thousands of dollars in the west? After all the new capitalism is all about making money and not about making new technologies for the benefit of the mankind.
