Mozilla & Gecko clones "Mozilla has pushed back the planned release of Firefox to sometime in 'early 2011'. Previously, the open source outfit had said its latest desktop browser would be officially released next month."

Because they tag bugs release blocker, or RC blocked in the current case so the fixes have time to be tested before being fixed. It's a good thing. It may be slower to develop, but it is stronger. 3.5 was quite buggy, and not that late. So it is just better to wait until it's ready.
