Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu After announcing the move to Unity, and the eventual move to Wayland further down the line (someday one day perhaps eventually maybe once when unicorns roam the earth), Ubuntu is announcing yet another major change, this time in its release policy. While they're not moving to a rolling release as some websites are claiming, they will update components and applications more often.

Stop right there perfect example of spreading Fear Uncertainty and Doubt.

Read what i wrote... You just continue your load of b*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vREspQG6ayQ -- German Air Traffic Control completely running Suse Linux, because its constantly updated that means Linux is unstable according to you, so unstable in fact that the Germans are willing to move all of their air traffic control systems over to Suse Linux..

http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/1008257/faa-switches-air-t... -- FAA switches air traffic control to Linux , even the Americans are doing it.

If Linux was in any way unstable do you think it would even be considered for air traffic control ?

So your saying because they are switching they will update every 6 months or what ever the release schedule are for those distros?

Being able to run OpenOffice 3 on an obsolete version of Linux is absolutely pointless and proves nothing about stability or anything else for that matter. In fact being able to sacrifice backwards compatibility enables better, faster, more stable and more secure libraries because your not left with having to support dodgy API's dodgy undocumented quirks. This is what I mean by constantly evolving.

Did i mention OO 3? Or any other new version of a piece of software that i would want to run on an older version of a OS?

So yeah thanks for proving my point ..

I did'nt. You seem to think i wrote stuff i didn't to make it seem so. But i'm sure that you will eventually get your head of out your behind and see that your just making a fool out your self.
