Today's UI designers are faced with the challenge of devising graphical user interfaces that are easy to grasp and use, yet still provide access to a wide range of features. Congrats for the introductory article, I greatly applaude your attitude towards educating developers in usability issues. That's really one thing that every dev should study and apply on their daily work.
