Are you kidding? (though your message can be extremely innocent [if you are a mexican guy], it can also be extremely xenophobic).
I think that if Miguel de Icaza would be fired, he would be hired the next day or he would have a lot of job offers in his mailbox.
Miguel can return to Mexico, but he can stay in the US, move to Europe or Asia or wherever he wants to be.
