Totally off topic but I just did the unthinkable with ubuntu on my wifes computer. She needed a new printer, so I waltz into bestbuy got a brother multifunction laser printer on sale without stopping to consider the operating system.
Plugged it in, the cd had printer drivers, the website had scanner drivers and 10min later - everything works as expected.
When did linux start getting along with printers sos well?
