Just go to 'settings', then 'about phone', then 'tell HTC' then deselect 'report errors to HTC' and/or 'report usage to HTC'
Problem solved...
Edit: spelling error.
Double edit: Read fail-nevermind, apparently it doesn't matter whether it's on or off....fortunately the article tells us the offending file and how to delete it...
