Window Managers Gtk+ has GNOME on the one hand, and Xfce on the other. Qt, on the other hand, only has KDE - there's no lightweight, less encompassing alternative if KDE doesn't float your boat, but you'd still want a Qt desktop. Luckily for you, there's now Razor-qt, a small, lightweight and simple Qt desktop environment.

Sounds a tiny bit like Qt-LXDE. I hope this will spawn more standalone Qt-appications. There seem to be a lot more Gtk+ ones, than Qt.

Btw., I have no experience on this, but the transition from Qt3 to Qt4 didn't seem to be too easy (at least I remember some complaints 'bout that). Does anyone know how Qt4 to Qt5 is/will be.
