Window Managers After six years, development on Window Maker has picked up again. Other than mere bug fixes, the two new releases (so far) also include lots of code cleanup and, yes, new features as well. Welcome back!

I just wanted to flag that progress on Etiole seems slow because they do so much back-end work that is not user visible. In particular, they have done a lot of work to modernize the Objective-C library--even adding all the new 10.7 Lion APIs. They also do a lot of Smalltalk work and I think you can write code in either language that is directly callable from the other. They focus on clang as the Objectivr-C compiler I believe. All this benefits GnuStep of course but is not very screenshot friendly.
