You mention over and over that the current system is broken. You admit that iOS prevents you from easily copying files to and from other devices, and that it tends to cause app lock-in. And yet you seem perfectly complacent with this, all in the name of "the common good". But there is no such thing as "the common good", at least nothing that Apple is furthering. No, Apple made these design decisions on purpose, in order to lock you into their software, services and platform--not because they really want to make your life simpler. If they wanted that, hell, then they could easily have prevented this clusterfuck in the first place, and still made everything just as app-centric. So my question to you is: Why aren't you mad at hell as them for messing up a good idea in such a horrible way???
