He surely is not.
I have devoted my whole projects main focus to consistency and a good interface. I am sure that users will come as I start to get enough features to be able to compete with the "big guys".
Absolutely confident that a user will choose a pretty and consistent UI over vomit if the app provides roughly the same features/stability/speed.
If just had more time I wouldn't stop at a music player but create great and good looking apps in ALL areas where a consistent UI is missing.
So... maybe lonely but not alone.
