Google So yeah, Google totally just won the conference showdown by easily beating both Apple and Microsoft. Not only did Google announce Android 4.1 with some really cool new features, a cheap but non-crippled tablet, and a new Android device called the Nexus Q, but they also opened up pre-orders for Google Glass. So yeah.

There isn't going to change what people are going to buy.

People buy the Kindle Fire because that has the best user experience for the reason they exist. The same is true of iPads.

How something with only 8gb or 16gb of memory isn't neutered is beyond me. I've got an 64 gb iPad and it is currently 74% filled.

- I have four games on my iPad that are over 1.5 gb each.
- I have three movies on my iPad (GroundHog Day, Princess Bride, and Dr. StrangeLove) that total 5 gb total.
- I haven't gotten to non games (GarageBand for instance) or music or pictures.

8 and 16 gb isn't neutured? Maybe for you but I don't live in a world where I am always connected to wifi.

And by the way, there is no version of the Nexus 7 that has cellular data. So if you aren't around wifi you might as well be on the moon.

Yes the Nexus 7 is cool. There are a lot of cool things about it. But to say it isn't neutered is wrong. At least it would be for me.

For instance. What good is a GPS program if you have to make sure you download a particular route before you leave the house. My plans change. Or should I say my wife's ideas change and we end up going places I didn't know I was going to go. Oops, sorry, I don't have maps for that...
