Another person who always forgets about who creates the content for you people: developers. Right. Sound and touch my a**.
So? We might just largely return to the general model of workstations, for dev usage.
Unless you also think that, to happily live in a house, it is essential having always at hand a drafting table and a supply of raw building materials. Or that a good car requires onboard (miniature, obviously) design studio and assembly line...
Present netbooks are as powerful as laptops from few short years back BTW - quite decent, considering that we generally have more than enough processing power for longer than that.
