The person in question is called Nikato Muirhead, who I have had never heard of or noticed. I'd be very much surprised if you find a single forum where his inaccuracy, or lie as you call it, is quoted. Even more surprised if people on these forums will accept it as a fact and use it in pro-Apple propaganda.
Had it been Al Gore, Lady Gaga, or someone very influential it would be different.
The general public doesn't know or care about ARM, Nikato Muirhead, OSnews, they don't care if Apple did or didn't have anything to do with it. They won't flock to the Apple store because Nikato Muirhead said Apple co-invented ARM.
If you scout the comment sections of OSNews you probably can find inaccuracies in every one of them. Even this statement is probably inaccurate.
