The text includes one slight inaccuracy, which probably wasn't made with evil intent. This inaccurate bit doesn't even add or subtract anything from the core statement and a logical assumption.
"Fanboyish" isn't really about evil intent ...it might be seen more as an outlook on things which makes it easier to do such inaccuracies, going in the direction of brand-praise (or even, as you put it in other post, history-rewriting)
