Apple Another Apple-to-switch-Macs-to-ARM post. "Apple engineers have grown confident that the chip designs used for its mobile devices will one day be powerful enough to run its desktops and laptops, said three people with knowledge of the work, who asked to remain anonymous because the plans are confidential. Apple began using Intel chips for Macs in 2005." No idea when Apple will make the switch, but they will do it. I'm thinking 5-10 year timeframe.

There is nothing fanboyish about it. It doesn't praise Apple, say nasty stuff about non-Apple companies/products/people. Making a statement about Apple that doesn't say they must die doesn't make someone a fanboy.
The text includes one slight inaccuracy, which probably wasn't made with evil intent. This inaccurate bit doesn't even add or subtract anything from the core statement and a logical assumption.

"Fanboyish" isn't really about evil intent might be seen more as an outlook on things which makes it easier to do such inaccuracies, going in the direction of brand-praise (or even, as you put it in other post, history-rewriting)

In another post he does seem a bit over-enthusiastic:

(but it's not like he's most annoying with that, really)
