Opera Software De kogel is door de kerk: as we already talked about earlier, Opera is going to switch to the WebKit engine, leaving its own Presto rendering engine behind. We didn't yet know if they would the switch only on mobile or on the desktop as well, and they cleared that up too: both mobile and desktop Opera Browsers will switch to the WebKit rendering engine.

Would you please provide an update for all our iPad users, regardless of the iPad generation?

iOS isn't opensource and only Apple can push iOS updates to devices. If you buy an iPad you know what the constraints are in that walled garden.

Cause you know, WebKit is open and such so that I don't have to hack around for iPad users.

Opensource doesn't mean you get a time travel machine with it. It means you can shape the future.
