Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu Mark Shuttleworth: "I simply have zero interest in the crowd who wants to be different. Leet. 'Linux is supposed to be hard so it's exclusive' is just the dumbest thing that a smart person could say." He's right. Lots of interesting insights in this blog post - I may not agree with everything Ubuntu does, but at least it's doing something.

Shuttleworth lost another good opportunity to keep the mouth shut and don't speak bullshit.

Some of his actions go against the free/open source world, which he depends on and heavly use on Ubuntu.
He doesn't know the difference between technical focus and consumer focus. Linux started in 1991 and Ubuntu in 2004 and Ubuntu's doing different not the Linux/FOSS comunity, for the bad or good. Don't spit up in the air, it will blow back on your head.
