Smart. Takes the wind right out of Microsoft's sails.

I don't understand the editorial comment you've added Thom. It's not a "smart" move, it's a mandatory move. And I don't get why this should take the proverbial wind out of Microsoft's sales - this was exactly the sort of thing that Microsoft was hoping for (we all know that the damages the EU fines companies like MS - while being large numbers - are still insignificant compared to the funds the aforementioned companies have at their disposal.
