General Development

Hollywood 6.0 has been released. Since I'm not so sure most of you know what it is, here's the official description.

Hollywood is a multimedia-oriented programming language that can be used to create graphical applications very easily. It was designed with the paradigm to make software creation as easy as possible in mind. Thus, Hollywood is suited for beginners and advanced users alike. Hollywood comes with an extensive function library (encompassing almost 700 different commands) that simplifies the creation of 2D games, presentations, and applications, to a great extent. It has been in development since 2002 and hence is today a very mature and stable software package.

Hollywood is a language system for doing programs easier. Amiga users loves it and you should respect that. There is nothing on the Amiga that looks like PowerPoint design. Also! AmigaOS is one of the most flexible OS's in the world, which means you can justify as you want to. So people get totally wrong impression and many got lack of knowledge of AmigaOS. Media and Bill Gates have always put Amiga on the hate list. Do you know why? Because Microsoft sold BASIC license to Commodore very cheap! and because of this, he have hated Amiga so much.. so when Gateway 2000 had Amiga, he demanded Gateway 2000 to stop supporting Amiga.

AmigaOS is something different than Windows or OSX or Linux. The world should know this.
