OSNews, Generic OSes As here in Europe Christmas eve has already begun, we, the OSNews team, both editors and site maintainers, would like to wish all of our readers a very merry Christmas. May everyone be with the ones they love-- no matter one's nationality, religion, favourite operating system, favourite desktop environment, or whatever. Let us also hope the victims of the tsunami, the earthquake in Pakistan, and Gulf Coast hurricane, and all others who have suffered this year, have found comfort. Let's have a moment of silence on the 26th for them. Merry Christmas, people (and anyone who dares to sing "Last Christmas" in the comments gets banned for a week) !

Too bad see people fight even in this topic in this day who are supposed to be about love, forgiveness and union O.o
Tks for all osnews staff for this site and for the message.. merry christmas for all editors, staff, users... and the world!
This day is not about presents at all, sure! commerce are happy, but you only buy presents to people who you like. The best thing is to wake up in the morning and see all your family, including the past generations and celebrate. Enjoy the day, forget your problems... think about a perfect world, and then will turn on reality. The first step for a better world is care about other people for good. Regardless of religion, or lack of, this day is to be celebrated by their message, who are simple: love.
Happy holiday to everyone =]
