Windows MSDN has posted a video interview with Rob Short, the MIcrosoft VP in charge of the team that "architects the foundation of Windows Vista," and members of his team. The interview goes deep into kernel development, and they even ask the question that's on everyone's mind: "do you ever wish the registry had never been developed?"

Despite the fact that the great majority of the people don't care or don't realize that there is kernel running, it's a very interesting interview. If the kernel works great, nobody notice it, but if it fails.... Poor kernel developers! :-)
