Is it just me or is there a growing anti-apple sentiment here at OSNews. Apple hasn't been so froendly with some things lately but nowadays, if anyone says nearly anything supporting apple, they are down are modded down and are ganged up on by multiple hostile flamers. I know this sounds whiny but its starting to piss me off. If you disagree, hate me, dont care about me or other SANE apple supporters (who are being generalized as "fanboys"), the go ahead, mod us down. But is it just me or is there a growing trend of disappointment and discontent about OSNews popularity contests?

Apple stories have always resulted in rather emotional discussions and dragging the "I'm too freakin' stupid to make content protection work" DMCA into this has only made things worse.
Plus, Apple spent a lot of time and money creating a cool, hip image. In the last couple of month they have clearly shown that they are even more anal retentive than MS. I mean, come on, trying to prevent people from publishing the app store related rejection letters is so ridiculous it just blows my mind. And now this case of "We're selling something and a company buys and uses it - oh noes!".
Then there are people in the pro-Apple crowd claiming that reselling changed books is illegal - something nearly everybody has done. But you can tell them this a bazillion times and they still won't learn.
Overall, I think hostile reactions are unfortunate but were to be expected given Apple's latest track record of suppressing the little guy and the stubbornness of some of its fanboys...
PS: No, I didn't mod anybody down.
