Is it just me or is there a growing anti-apple sentiment here at OSNews. Apple hasn't been so froendly with some things lately but nowadays, if anyone says nearly anything supporting apple, they are down are modded down and are ganged up on by multiple hostile flamers. I know this sounds whiny but its starting to piss me off. If you disagree, hate me, dont care about me or other SANE apple supporters (who are being generalized as "fanboys"), the go ahead, mod us down. But is it just me or is there a growing trend of disappointment and discontent about OSNews popularity contests?

He's talking about the backlash that happens when something is overexposed. People just get sick of hearing about companies or products after a while, and they just turn off or go on the Internet and mod people down.
It happened with Nike where they were putting a swoosh on everything. The counted that at one time Tiger Woods was wearing 20 different logos at one time. Nike has since toned it down to keep from overexposing the brand.
Another example would be people repeating a catch phrase ad nauseum until someone snaps on them. The grating "I'm a Mac" commercials haven't helped anything.
I'm sure the disillusionment doesn't help, but, really, they should have seen that coming.
