I don't think Linus is arrogant, perhaps he's more a bit shy-type-of-guy. He really shouldn't care about other OS'es. Of course Linux has -let's call it- problems of it's own, and yes, they should be adressed, if possible. That's his focus right now, and nobody should try to copy other OS'es. Linus neither. Please remember that we like Linux for what it really is -stable and versatile- and not some windows clone who does it all better. And for the quality of Linux : Lets talk about crashes per year, not per day.
