"640K ought to be enough for anybody." Bill Gates, 1981. "64 bit is coming to desktops, there is no doubt about that, But apart from Photoshop, I can't think of desktop applications where you would need more than 4 gigabytes of physical memory, which is what you have to have in order to benefit from this technology." It seems to me that by the time it ships, Longhorn will need 4 gigs of RAM.

I guess if you stop programming you lose touch with reality. Bill Gates hasn't done any programming publiclly in years. He has been the marketing man.
10 years and Linus is still in daily charge of source code. 10 years and Bill Gates just doesn't remember even how computers interact with hardware.
He also told reporters that windows patches faster than linux.
Linux usally has patches in hours, best from microsoft is days. One should feel sorry for him. His greed and need for control are showing just how frail his thinking truely is. Just remember the truth is a three edged sword, there is your side, their side and the truth. Appartenly marketing has clouded Microsofts side with a bigger reality distortion field than Jobs.(maybe)
