It seems to me that by the time it ships, Longhorn will need 4 gigs of RAM.

True nacer, but it also happenned that a)Microsoft patches makes some other product crash, and b) Microsoft' fix doesn't really close the vulnerability: which leaves you in a worse situation than before: you think you are patched when in fact you aren't.
So apparently, the longer time it takes Microsoft to release its patches is not good enough..
