The GNU-Darwin Distribution is a free operating system and a popular source of free software for Mac OS X and Darwin-x86 users, but it is also a platform for digital activism. You asked "Is the GUI themeable?" I said it is XFree86. Yet you don't think that answers your question... so yes it's theamable, you can run anything from GNOME to KDE, to WinowMaker to FluxBox to Enlightenment. You name the window manager and it runs on GNU-Darwin as well. Each of those window managers are themable as well, thus making it even more themable.
