O yeah I do remember now, I did see some amazing rotating teapots when the hardware acceleration worked, only to be broken by the next bone update.
Actually in DANO it still works, it was the "player" that broke.
Get an older player and run it on DANO, works fine.
I am still amazed by old (and new) amiga and c64 demos. I haven't seen todays computers used in those ways. We were so creative back then.
Some are still doing old style demos...
