David Dawes is maybe the most active XFree86 developer and he is also the lead founder of the project. He works for Tungsten Graphics, which is the main company working on the XFree, DRI and Mesa codebases today. Hmm, the more important question would be - is you question (the one above) a real question?

I agree with JBQ, people wont understand it untill they see it. Hopefull OpenBeOS will have something like that when they near a major release.
