I gotta say

I've personally tried the following distros:

Red Hat 9
Fedora 1
Mepis
Slackware 9
Xandros 2
SuSE 9.0

They all lasted a week or two on my desktop but the one I keep going back to is SuSE. I think they've done a great job.
