General Development My physics teacher likes to say that physics like to make problems they face look like ones that they know how to solve. A simple harmonic oscillation was one he frequently used in class, as is presumably the case in physics in general.

Your analysis of why Objective-C is overly simplistic. Objective-C is not popular because it is not marketed or promoted properly. Having learnt Objc, and then having to write Java, has made me appreciate Objc that much more.

It has nothing to do with having to write code "like" a computer. Objective-C is still C deep down, after all.
