This review stinks
What kind of strikes me is that almost all posters in this topic saying "this sucks" and "that sucks" about JDS actually fail to explain on what technical merit they formed their opinion. It look more like they have got some sort preconceived notion about the product and Sun in general. I understand the angry teenage kidos writing splurges from their mom's basements using Linux installed on their mom's PC's, but Eugenia, as a responsible reporter you should at least try to maintain a neutral stance.
Oh, and by the way, Eugenea, you reviews really stink. And I'm talking just about this JDS review, all your reviews are like that. Besides being totally unobjective pretty much all of your reviews are centered around which OS/distribution has got a better looking icons or fonts. Everything is judged by shrinkwrap and not by the functionality of the product.
BTW, I'm writing this from a PC running JDS -- it is actually quite a decent product. It is not quite as shiny as other distro's, but being targetted primarily at the run-of-the-mill desktop in a call center it should do just fine.
