As a programmer and manager of embedded software products for a living, I think that operating system programming is so much fun that it will eventually be outlawed. I've previously published two articles on OSNews, So, you want to write

the article reads more like
"i thought i could make millions selling a halfbaked toy os with no drivers. we had no customers. now we sell on existing stuff as a reseller with out little custom whotzit included."
the author must have been the only hobbyist os developer with his eyes closed to the reality of creating/selling an operating system.
