Basically the author says "don't write your own kernel, 'cause nobody is going to port their stuff over to your kernel". Well, I'm happy I can still continue my work on ReactOS then (which aims to run unmodified Win32 binaries, both apps and drivers). Feel free to join us Emmanuel :-)
