For some reason many long term linux users don't really care, Mr. Unbiased Sources. After years of using linux I use it because it works for me, and it works for me on commodity hardware. I used it before it had 1% market share, and I'll continue to use it. The true joy of linux, and GPLed code, is that it can live forever. There is no Be Inc. to go under, there is no target of a hostile takeover. . . There is just something that works for me. I mean sheesh, why can't people just be pro-whatevertheylike without resorting to ati-theotherguy tactics.
