i like GnomeBaker. http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php?soft_id=291 it's stable even though it's in alpha. some of the features are a little behind, but when it's combined with XCDRoast, there is no need for K3B.
i've spent a lot of time looking for a GTK replacement for K3B and these two apps combined are the closest i've come yet.
