The tiger -- and all the big cats -- are endangered species. I would expect Mac marketshare to keep sinking regardless of whatever mostly-useless eye candy Steve Jobs rolls into the new version of OS X.

For instance, Expose is an eye candy band-aid to make up for Mac's broken window management (i.e. none).

The single menu bar paradigm was dead 15 years ago, but lives on in Mac land.

Apple's pseudo-PDF system is fast but goes nowhere because it is not real PDF.

Building a giant laptop without a nice keyboard (17" powerbook) is yet another example of Apple falling on its face.

Having worked in computers for a long time, I have yet to see any embrace of Mac by IT. These days, it is "LINUX, LINUX, LINUX". Mac is just an executive toy for those execs that want a status laptop.
