Nice OS for the well to do, or YUPPIES.
No insult intended.
It will be a premium OS for sure. It will be safe, fun, stable, and expensive because of the hardware.
I am a systems Admin and how is it cheaper to set up???
We are mainly a Windows shop here, but our cheapest, easiest and most reliable systems here are Linux.
The OS is FREE, The applications are FREE, Linux is allowing us to port our custom software to it costing us only our spare time, so it is FREE in a sense (they are paying us to maintain and develop anyway) and the hardware cost allows us to get 4 - 5 PC's for the price of 1 MAC. If you factor in the licensing just for MS Office and a few other applications, we can get roughly 12 - 14 PC's for the price of just 1 MAC.
It is a shame that MAC wants to screw themselves and cannot see the larger picture.
It is like $14.00 for a cheese burger at one place with a designer wrapper, when you can go next door and get another cheese burger for $1.00 in a plain wrapper.
But I digress...
