I think what most - not all - of us might agree is that priests of the devil's cult (java, C++, C, anything Assemblyalgoloid) should be the least qualified persons for enlightening others on where the trend of programming should be. Of course they find the 'current paradigms' limiting - all they know of them are their tenth-arsed versions.
