I've been using Mdklinux 10.1 for several months and it's incredibly powerful and stable, with thousands applications available from a simple click or a urpmi. Really worth a try.

For businesses, there is also the newly-released Mandrakelinux Corporate Desktop: http://store.mandrakesoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=193%...)which looks excellent as a professional desktop OS. It's also very affordable ($109 with one-year 24x7 support).
