My basement is like a mortuary with the remains of computers all lying in state, waiting and hoping for a new lease on life. But what is there to do with the K6s, the Celerons, and Pentiums of the past. It seems nothing short of a miracle would bring these ghosts back to life.

It takes about as much energy to make a computer
as a small automobile, in other words throwing things
out could be considered wastefull.
Some of us just like to tinker with older computers,
for personal satisfaction.
And hey, its kinda fun to find a dual processor setup
that used to be a high end workstation and see just
what you can do with it for a few dollars.
A D-link system is not the same as having a dedicated
firewall running.
