I decided to write this review to provide a quick inside to the new Linspire 5.0 released on March 15th, 2005. The review will determine the use of Linspire 5.0 in a SOHO (Small Office Home Office) Environment. The download was free for me since I'm a current CNR subscriber. UPDATE: Another Linspire review, and the Linspire 5.0 Live CD is now available for free download.

I'm also a Xandros User, mostly at work and rate Xandros very high on my list and frequent the Xandros Forums as well under the same user name. It's not about my Distro is better than yours here, use what fit's your needs. Be open minded and not close minded. I have used dozens of Distros, you name them and I have most likely tried them. I have several boxes here at home and work to play with, but have found Linspire to be the one I use mostly day in and day out. Linux is about choice for me as well as fun, just look at Distrowatch if you want choice. Windows, well there is Windows...not much else. And if you enjoy the daily trouble with Viruses, Adware, and Spyware then you know how much fun it can be. Just to satisfy my curiosity I also went ahead and tried out the modem and setup a free Netzero Account, short and simple it works! I have no real use for it and just assumed it would not work. By the way, the modem also works with Xandros, as well as most everything else...except for the 1920x1200 Screen Resolution which has an open bug for it.
