I decided to write this review to provide a quick inside to the new Linspire 5.0 released on March 15th, 2005. The review will determine the use of Linspire 5.0 in a SOHO (Small Office Home Office) Environment. The download was free for me since I'm a current CNR subscriber. UPDATE: Another Linspire review, and the Linspire 5.0 Live CD is now available for free download.

Guys, Linux distros are not yet ready for the prime time. If you are talking about mission-critical applications then nothing beats Unix; If you are talking about Internet based applications then the best thing would be Linux; but if you are looking for a computer or a laptop as a tool to serve the internet and introduce you to digital life ( audios, videos, pics) then nothing beats OSX; and if you want the king of availability OS then it would be windows. You you can choose your flavor. In my opinion the best linux I ever liked was Xandros 3 deluxe ( have used all linuxes flavors since 1999).
Linspire 5.0 is promising finally but cannot beat Xandros 3 in their vision to linux approach.
