Linspire I decided to write this review to provide a quick inside to the new Linspire 5.0 released on March 15th, 2005. The review will determine the use of Linspire 5.0 in a SOHO (Small Office Home Office) Environment. The download was free for me since I'm a current CNR subscriber. UPDATE: Another Linspire review, and the Linspire 5.0 Live CD is now available for free download.

Kevin has already stated that any user that requests a CD will get a CD. Most users in Linspires Target Market would never use a source code cd and it would just end up as a coaster, which I suspect includes you. I'm not sure why you are banned, and it's not my business to know. Your best resolve would have been to open an incident report to Linspire and ask for the CD. If you did and did not get the right response move the incident up the chain until you do. Going to the Linspire Forum and trying to stir up things are never positive as you found out. If you did learn a lesson about all this and you are sincere about what you say, I welcome you back, but again not up to me! Linspire has been a very positive experience for me so far, and you will have your troubles with any company sooner or later, but keeping a level head to work things out is always the first and best step to take. If you do not plan on returing to Linspire please feel free to look at all the other wonderful choices available to you. There are literally over a hundret Linux Distros to choose from, but I'm sure most will react in the same manner if attacked or threatend. Take care! ;)
