I signed up to become a Lindows Insider (now
Linspire) back in February 2004, after giving Lindows 4.5 Developer Edition a try and walking away very impressed about how far Lindows had come. I was very hesitant plugging down $99.00 for something you could do free with most other Distros which I thought was beta testing and voicing your opinion, but figured I had nothing to lose since they offered a 100% Money Back Guarantee on the program.

Xandros is a very nice distribution. I like it too.
What's great is that there are room for people to like Linspire, Xandros, Mandrake, MEPIS, Ubuntu, and others...
I like that Xandros is less cluttered and flashy than Linspire is.
I could use either Distribution in place of Windows right now. And I think that's good...
Linspire has more of a human face than Xandros does. I've NEVER seen a Xandros exec post in a thread about Xandros.
And what I like about Linspire and the company, is you KNOW they are reading the threads and taking the comments seriously, because as is shown above...
Kevin responds intelligently and honestly to the comments made.

That's worth my dollars.
