It kind of hit me when Ewan McGregor was mentioned in the article that his best movie was Trainspotting, and it didn't have any computer generated special effects. I tend to watch movies with lots of sfx once and then forget about them. "Go" as a great movie (no sfx either), William Fichtner played that weird cop, the scene with him and his wife trying to sell stuff was hilarious ;)
