The U2/G3/5 players - not expandable, but an assload of features
This is the only player I know of that has an option which prevents you from skipping tracks. Anybody who's an audiobook junkie that has accidentally skipped tracks when they meant t fast forward or rewind knows why you might need this 
Bookmarks work great too.
