OS/2 and eComStation reports that IBM has released their OS/2 strategy for 2003. They appear to be pushing the WebSphere Software Platform as well as client and server upgrades to Warp 4. The report can be viewed at IBM's website.

The first release of eCS was based on the updated code from IBM called either MCP or ACP (Merlin (client) resp. Aurora (server) Convenience Package). When speaking of version number it would be v4.52 of OS/2 from IBM. The codebase to make it really easy used is based on IBM OS2 Warp Server for e-Business (WSFeB). So for example among other one of the nice features that the client code got from this package was the JFS FS among other.
