The troll queen unleashes her wrath again!

Let's see if we can't pick this latest spewing apart, shall we?

1) There is no alternative desktop product that can *truly* compete with Mac OS X or XP.

Actually yes, there is troll queen. Competing isn't defined as winning, it's offering an alternative. KDE and GNOME are alternatives, aren't they?

You also neglect to mention that many of these projects aren't attempting to directly compete with Windows, but hey..when you're the troll queen, the facts don't matter.


2) The refined, elegant apps and user experience are just not there.

I hope you're not implying that the average Windows and Mac OS X user has more experience with computers than someone running your average Linux distribution. That'd be ridiculous and laughable even by -your- standards. As for the "elegant apps" bit, hey. There's a whole lot of ugly apps for Windows too, hate to break the news to you. And ugliness comes in different forms..like trying to -uninstall- Office XP and having it leave half a million registry keys floating around, assuming it uninstalls properly in the first place.

3) And the thing is that MS and Apple are continuing to bring new things to their experience, while the Linux crowd are just following three-four steps (or years) behind.

More verbal fellatio to the almighty Corporations(tm). Specific instances? Examples? Proof? -Anything-? Of course not. Why offer any substantial information when you can just make huge, sweeping generalizations without backing, ones that you're sure will make plenty of people angry and rack up those banner hits?

4)However, Linux does a good server, I admit that.

First thing you've gotten right so far. You know, your behaviour is really getting disgusting, it's beyond unprofessional now. It's rude and unnecessary.
