Mandriva, Mandrake, Lycoris OSNews was privileged to an early access to the final version of Mandrake Linux 9.1 Standard Edition and we were able to test it for almost a week now. Here is our review. I have no use for ACPI sorry, as the distro was installed on my desktop machine and not on a laptop. I don't have a laptop that can run Mandrake or any other modern Linux dsitro (all my 3 laptops are either old-ish, or Macs).

I did ran Apache, PHP and MySQL and they all ran fine. But for more server-intensive jobs (e.g. running a DNS or a print server), I have absolutely no need for (our FreeBSD home server works just fine, thanks), so I can't say I tested the server side of Mandrake.
